This page explains what happens to the information you send us through youngbucksandatruck.com. It is written in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, call us on 804-964-2825 and ask.

Who we are

What you give us

Two forms on this site collect information, and both are optional — you can call or text instead.

• The quote form. Your name, company if you give one, phone number, email address, the town the job is in, when you need it, a description of the work, and any photographs you attach.
• The feedback form. Your name, a phone number or email address, which job it was about, what went wrong, and whether you want a call back. That message is emailed to us and includes the internet address (IP address) it was sent from, which is a standard anti-spam measure.

We use all of it for one thing: to price the job, do the job, and follow up on it. We do not sell it, rent it, or hand it to anyone for marketing.

What the website collects on its own

Our web host keeps standard server logs — the pages requested, the time, the browser, and the IP address. Those logs exist for security and troubleshooting and are not used to build a profile of you.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no analytics or tracking pixels. Two things do load from other companies, and those companies see your IP address as a result:

• Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces the pages are set in.
• LightWidget, which displays our Instagram feed. Instagram and LightWidget may set their own cookies through that panel; their policies govern what they do with them.

Links to our Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn pages are ordinary links. Nothing is shared with those companies until you click one.

Who else sees your information

Our crew and office staff, so the work gets done. Our web host, because the site and our email run on their servers. Anyone the law requires us to tell. Nobody else.

How long we keep it

Quote requests and job records stay with us while the work is live and afterwards for as long as our accountant and the tax rules require. Feedback emails stay in the owner's inbox. Ask us to delete something and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

Your choices

Email or call and you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. There is no form and no fee. Virginia's consumer data law does not apply to a company our size, but we will answer these requests anyway.

Children

This is a moving and junk removal company. The site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection and form submissions reach us by email. Email is not a secure channel by nature, so please do not send card numbers, bank details or identification documents through this site. If you need to pay, we will tell you how.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If the change is significant — new tracking, a new use of your information — we will say so on this page rather than quietly editing it.
